How Can recurring Testicle Pain Be Treated?

Was using an Ab Roller, and my left testical felt a slight tug around the end of the workout (like it was being sucked up every time I tightened my abs.). It didn t really hurt and the odd feeling eventually went away. Two days later I forgot about it and it happened again. This time it s causing a Recurring pain in the testicle tubes and veins above the testicle (like a slightly discomforting ache, nothing super disturbing but definitely not normal). And there is a slight irritation when I urinate sometimes. I don t really have any pain in my abdomen and my actual testical feels okay to the touch. Any idea on the significance or anything that I should do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to testicular torsion.

It happens when the spermatic cord, which provides blood flow to the testicle, rotates and becomes twisted.

I recommend you to go to the emergency room for a physical examination and further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
